Going to put money down and roll the dice on UNT bouncing back with a third, comfortable, win at-home, against Wazzu, EricMorris' former team. This was the "clunker" of the season, and as The Solid Verbal says, "Win-your-clunkers!"

If anything....it may actually work-out for this WMU road aberration game to have gone the way it did, because if the players "read their press clippings" and needed to "come back down to Earth", this was the game to do that in, because it's usually the FOLLOWING game that is the quote-unquote "get-right game", PLUS they were still able to come away with a "W" by the end (for however much luck and/or penalty-help from the imploding WMU team gave them) and are back at-home.

Told TSV to temper expectations with the USF win over Florida, because, be honest....Florida has been garbage for years and irrelevance since TimTebow finished there. What did beating Florid do for UCF a few years ago? Everyone beats Florida. A good so-called "G5 team" beat a garbage so-called "P4/5/6 team", and UNT, a good, quote-unquote "G5 team" should beat an even worse "Pac-2 team", at-home. If USF can beat Florida at-Florida, UNT can beat an even worse Wazzu in Denton.

Wazzu's compatriot in being left behind in the Pac-2, OREST, lost to Fresno State (being one of three legs that cost this user their college parlay tickets: was gonna split on that game and the TXST-UTSA game, but didn't have the money, and was, in all likelihood, still going to lose-out on Liberty losing to Jacksonville State). If one's own rival loses to a so-called "G5 team", in the -- IMHO -- second-best "G5 conference" in the MWC, as-compared to The American -- "the" best "G5 conference", IMHO -- then that's all the more reason to expect UNT to win against Wazzu at-home in Denton.

It's called "The Transitive Property", and "The Drew abides".

GMG!
